Business information: Your Google review link, phone number, and SMS template preferences.

Customer information: When you send a review request, we collect the customer name and phone number you provide. We also collect their interaction data (whether they clicked, their sentiment response, star rating, and any private feedback they submit).

Payment information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. Stripe may collect billing details in accordance with their privacy policy.

Usage data: We collect basic usage information such as pages visited, features used, and request counts to improve our service.

• To send SMS review requests to your customers on your behalf
• To send you SMS notifications about customer interactions
• To display analytics and feedback in your dashboard

3. SMS Messaging

FiveStarPing sends SMS messages on behalf of businesses to their customers. By using our service, you confirm that you have obtained consent from your customers to receive text messages. Recipients can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.

We use Twilio as our SMS provider. Messages are transmitted through their infrastructure and are subject to their privacy practices.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data or your customers' data. We share information only with the following service providers necessary to operate FiveStarPing:

• Twilio — SMS delivery
• Stripe — payment processing
• Supabase — database and authentication
• Vercel — application hosting

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data and review request history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your data within 30 days. Customer phone numbers associated with opt-out requests are retained to ensure we honor their preference.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, and row-level security on our database. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

7. Your Rights

You may access, update, or delete your account information at any time through your dashboard settings. To request deletion of all your data, contact us at support@fivestarping.com.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
